Hanford Courthouse

Hanford Courthouse is located at 1426 South Drive, Hanford, CA, 93230. The courthouse is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The courthouse is closed on weekends and federal holidays.

The court has jurisdiction over civil, criminal, and juvenile proceedings; bankruptcy; naturalization; admiralty; and revenue cases arising in Kings County. The United States District Court for the Eastern District of California is one of four federal judicial districts in California.

The court has eight courthouses in Bakersfield, Fresno, Hanford, Modesto, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Santa Ana. The district headquarters is in Sacramento. The current Chief Judge is Lawrence J. O’Neill.
